Dr. T. William Houk retires
After 39 years of service to Miami University, Bill Houk will retire at the end of the fall semester. During his tenure, Bill has served on University Senate, as department chair, and as adviser and mentor to countless students. The Physics Department honored Bill at a reception on November 25, 2013 at The Marcum Conference Center and Hotel. More than 100 guests attended to celebrate, reminisce, and honor him.
Kreger Hall to become the new home for Physics
Renovations will transform Kreger Hall into the new home of the Physics Department by the summer of 2014. Changes in teaching methods, growth of the department, and advancements in research necessitate moving to a new home. more
