Mark Carden

After graduating from Miami with a degree in Engineering Physics in 1995, I went on to work as a Data Analyst with Capital One Financial in Richmond, Virginia.  Due to the highly quantitative nature of their analytics, Capital One hires a lot of people with engineering backgrounds.  After a few years as a Data Analyst I shifted the direction of my career from a technical one to a more strategic one.  Eventually, after five years there, 3.5 years as a Sr. Marketing Analyst with americangreetings.com and seven months with Acxiom Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio I took a position with Key Bank.  At Key, I am a Vice President of Business Intelligence, leading a team of Analysts responsible for delivering all of the reporting and accompanying strategic insights for our marketing campaigns.
